CENTERFIRE ENERGY GROUP RETURNS AS PRESENTING PARTNER FOR 5TH ANNUAL ATC CULTURAL FESTIVAL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo, AB, Treaty 8 – July 17, 2025) - The Athabasca Tribal Council (ATC) is pleased to announce that Centerfire Energy Group (Centerfire) will be the Presenting Partner of the 2025 ATC Cultural Festival (Festival) for the third year in a row. This is the highly anticipated fifth anniversary of the Festival, taking place from September 11 to 14.

Celebrating five years of sharing First Nations’ traditions and knowledge, the Festival continues to grow as a keystone event in the region. The Festival brings communities together to experience the richness of the region’s First Nations Dene and Cree cultures through music, dance, traditional teachings, art, food, and storytelling.

"Partners make the ATC Cultural Festival possible. Centerfire's support is a powerful statement from a First Nations-owned company to strengthen the community's connection to our culture and traditions,” said Chief Allan Adam, President of the Athabasca Tribal Council. “I thank Centerfire and their team’s commitment to ensuring that our cultural and traditional knowledge continues to thrive.”

Centerfire has been the Festival's presenting partner since 2023, with a long-term partnership that helps ensure the Festival's continued success.

“We are incredibly proud to support the Cultural Festival once again and stand alongside ATC in celebrating First Nations’ heritage in our region,” said Cam Wodham, Chief Operating Officer of Centerfire. “This Festival is a powerful platform for education, traditional teachings and culture, and we’re honoured to be part of it.”

The ATC Cultural Festival is actively connecting with businesses and organizations that wish to support the Festival with a partnership. Sponsorships, gift-in-kind partnerships, and volunteering teams are all welcome.
