FIRST NATIONS ARTS AND CULTURE

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The mission of the Athabasca Tribal Council Cultural Festival is to develop and deliver a festival that showcases, celebrates, and fosters the development of Northern Alberta’s diverse and distinctive Indigenous arts and culture.

Hosting Indigenous artists and performers from the region’s First Nations and Métis communities, along with guest artists, for four days of spectacular arts and cultural programming. The ATC Cultural Festival offers participants engaging and inspiring opportunities highlighting collaboration, artistic development, mentorship, and cultural revitalization.

Hosted by Athabasca Tribal Council, this will be a gathering and celebration that welcomes all people. The ATC Cultural Festival will be both an important community event, and a continuing cultural tourism attraction for Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.
